I love the state of Ga.! I lived in north florida for awhile and used to go on trips over the state line. Savannah was quaint and beautiful. Cumberland Island was breathtaking scenary. There is also St. Simons Island. If you go inland you can visit 6 Flags over GA, in Valdosta, which I have not been to. If you want to take a trip up to Atlanta there is the Carter Center. I hope to go their one day. There is also Folkston State Park where you can go boating canoeing, hiking; its a great destination if you like the outdoors.

Now to address the rest of your question/statement..
"im going down there and ive heard they say yall, and other weird words"
A poster above responded so eloquently, she is far kinder than what I would like to say to you..
Not that it matters to you but you are full of yourself. At least the word ya'll is a contraction, a shortened form of you all. Doesn't sound so weird to me.
Maybe you are the one who talks weird?!

Ahh and there is more..."is it just a hick state?"
And what would a non hick state be? (its question for you to reflect upon).

Oh we can't all be so civilized such as yourself!

You probably also believe that everyone down here in the south marries their cousin too! LOL You sound like such a biggot, too bad for you.

BTW I am originally a NY Yankee. :) Its people with your attitude that give us all a bad reputation...
Congratulations...

Honey, do you call people names because their skin is a different color than yours or because they're from a different country? No? Then don't call us names because we are from a different region and have a different culture. Georgia is a beautiful state, with beautiful smart people... So if you are prejudice just stay where you are.
