If you mean a heading which is the same at the top of each page in Word, then you do it by clicking on the View menu and choosing Header and Footer. What ever you type into the header box here will appear at the top of each page. Notice that a new toolbar will have opened while you are in the header view. You can use some of the auto options or switch to the footer (bottom of page) with the toolbar.
