I live in Bronx New York. I believe most of the courses are in Manhattan, New York. I would like to know how to get started because i am really interested in getting a real estate license. I would really like to receive responses from persons who have been there, done that so that i know what steps to take to get started. Please also include costs.

Well, in California , it was not a school but a self paced set of texts you bought from a real estate company.
After studying the books you could apply to take the test for the real estate licencse from the state, when you thought you were ready.
It was $200 for the texts about 6 years ago.
