Keep moving it. That way, no part of your mouth is ever too affected.

Also, starting with a dry mouth helps.

I haven't had one of those is awhile but as I recall I was more of the thumb and index finger removal methods and then put it back in and repeat. Those are pretty hot.

as long as i keep it on one side of my mouth and not get it all spitted up then yea since i dont taste it as it burns a hole in the inside of my mouth. it works

Yes thanks to my friend John. He bought me a whole tub of those things once. We had contests to see who could eat the most of them. Now, sadly, I have no taste buds left. But it was fun anyway.
