South African Cichlids are super-aggressive, so putting any fish other than more African Cichlids in with them would be a bad idea.

I agree with angeli. It's best to leave african cichlids with african cichlids.

the only fish that can go with african cichlids are african cichlids

likely up2 4-5 because dey are Cichlids & desire a tremendous variety of area.Use a sturdy filter out, likely a potential Head, upload some decorations(plastic plants,small caves etc.), upload wonderful gravel & dat will jus do it!!!! wish dis helped. t.c

it should do ok with space to hide and a soft substrate to dig into
