Could you please look up whether or not you're allowed to have ellipses in the middle of the sentence or if you have to put the two sources together at the end?
Ex:
Is it,
The dog ran (Jones 10) quickly (Johnson 5).
Or is it,
The dog ran quickly (Jones 10, Johnson 5).

You can't have them between sentences. The second one is right

Why don't you separate the two sentences? For ex:
According to Jones, the dog ran (10). In addition, Johnson claimed that the dog was quick (5).
