The last I read, he devoted most of his time to writing but was still trying cases on a very select basis. That's according to the afterword that was added to Helter Skelter in...I don't have it in front of me, but I'm pretty sure it was 1994.

He was 35 at the time of the Manson trial so he's in his early 70s now, so I hope he's having some fun too!!

He's a writer and I believe he has a new book on the Kennedy assasination coming out.
