Why are humans the only "gay" animals?

I've seen my pet cat hump my other pet cat of the same gender, but he humps pillows and bedsheets too. After he got neutered he stopped doing the humping all together. Even when he had that habit it's not like he had a gender specific prefference, it was more like a hormone rush. Humans however...we declare ourselves homos, lesbos, some even act like the opposite gender rather exaggerated, even dress up. And some who say they are gay end up being with another declaration of homosexuality BUT that person looks exactly like the opposite gender!! (Transexuals, Cross Dressers). So why are humans truly the only gay species in the planet? Are we so smart but not smart enough to comprehend ourselves? Is it the same reason why some one would pierce their nose and look like crap and listen to rock music because others do too? Wear baggy clothes and think you should also smoke weed & rap because others do too? Maybe we are smart but so easily confused, and we end up believing what is given to us

The word gay is a word that was used after the Civil War.It is a cultural definition.Our species is defined by culture a cat is not.We have a prefrontal lobe and that makes us unique a cat does not.If you were to meet me you would never know that I am homoerotic.Don't stereotype you take away my identity and my humanity.Peace

its actually been scientifically stated that we aren't. There are some apes, Dolphins, giraffes, and many other animals who have exhibited homosexual behavior.
It seems from what you're wrote that you're just a very closed minded person. You seem to be judging people based on appearances simply because you don't find them attractive. "Why someone would pierce their nose and look like crap"?? That's your opinion. They may think you look like crap because you don't have your nose pierced. Everyone's different, get over it and get over yourself.
