Do you think there is money to be made here? Examples would be to make movies of pics {weddings, b-days, etc.} or simple transfering of slides/vhs to dvd, complete with menus and songs and such. i did a "memorial" dvd at my fathers funeral with his pics of his life....everyone loved it and i was wondering what you people think....is this a good way to earn some extra cash? big enough demand/market? serious replys will be greatly appreciated! thanks all.

Yes, it's a great way to make money. If you do a good job, like adding music, making sure vid's/pics are in the correct order, etc... people will pay alot of money to have their memories permanently recorded. My Mother had all our old super8 movies put on 4 DVD's and it cost $800.00.

You need to find out how much competition there is in your area and what they're charging. Be careful about music as you can be sued for using copyrighted material that you haven't licensed.
