...and know all that you know now, what would you do differently in your life? What change(s) would you make this time around?

Not just in history, but YOUR own life.

I wouldn't change anything because:

My future would also change.

I wouldn't have the knowledge that comes from experience when I returned to the future, because I didn't experience the changes that caused it.

I wouldn't know what the future would look like because of the changes I made in the past; and who knows what the ripple effect that those changes would cause.

So even if I could literally go back in time, why would I jeopardize my present when I can learn from my past experiences that shaped me, and create my future from today.

For every present action is the future I create.

I would go back in time to intervene in WW2. I would make sure that both the Nazis AND the Stalinists were defeated. That war is still screwing up this world. I don't care so much to improve upon my life but I would be at the very least be saving millions of North Korean lives but I suspect millions of others too, not to mention the environmental devastation created by the Soviets and the Americans trying to keep up the cold war.

I'd have majored in something different. I didn't know how awful it is to work at a job that you have zero passion for. I enjoyed my double major but it didn't translate outside of school. I'd give almost anything to enjoy work. At this point I make too much money to start over at square 1. Also I wouldn't have taken this particular job, have you seen The Devil Wears Prada? That's my boss. Yep, boring job and my boss is the devil...

My own life: I'd have studied harder and avoided a certain young lady like the plague.

The World: I'd go back to the 1890's and drown Mrs. Hitler's baby boy in the bathtub.

do you understand the butterfly effect? look it up

(NO, not the movie, the theory of chaos, lol)

fine, ill spare you the trouble, by going back in time, changing the slightest event, such as wearing a different shirt to school, you could inadvertently cause ww3.

Changing the space-time continuum could have catastrophic consequences, even as insignificant a life as you may or may not be.
