i want out of this marriage because she has stopped doing all of the things that i fell in love with her for: cooking, cleaning, excercising, being faithful, etc.

your co worker sounds like a moron. The best way is to talk alone and talk. Does she even know how bad things are, have you told her you are unhappy. Don't drag this out just do it. She'll get through the shock I just hope she has someone who really cares about her to be there for her. Be kind.

Your co-worker is a ****. Dinner and a cold drink. Sit down with her and some music and tell her honestly why you think you need to seperate and why its not working for you, what you dont want to loose from your seperation (be it the kids, the house or friendship). Be calm. Once you have told her give her a hug
(If she'll let you - try anyway).

Oh yea...a bath will totally solve the problem of her marriage ending.
How about saying, "We need to talk. I want a divorce." And give her the reasons. There is no reason to sugar coat a divorce.

Don't do it. Remember "until death do us part" that is your covenant. Your next relationship has a 50% less of a chance of making it than the current. Don't take advice from unmarried people.

However you decide to tell her be a Man and tell her face to face. Don't just leave, don't send a card. You said I DO once and at least you owe her an explanation.

ok...getting her a nice card & setting a warm bath up for her is only giving her mixed signals.
Just tell her.....dont sugar coat it...but dont be a jerk either...If its not right, its not right....no use in prolonging something...Once you say it you will feel better.
