No one said being in love would be easy and smooth.

Love gives passion and beauty to the world around us. Some just don't see it that way.

You forget, there is more to love than general concept. There is obsession, attraction, acceptance, intoxication and a lot of more blah!

Love is free, but it's also restrained by our ideals and opinions.

Human beings are either a paradise in a body, or the greediest creatures on the face of the earth, it depends on how you see it.

For some the 'cost' of tears and heartbreak is non-existant. For others it's beyond endurance. For some others it's not that high.

Your premise is incorrect. Love is not free.

Even a dog requires a bit of food to cause him to love you.

As for the tears and the heartbreak, there may or may not be tears or heartbreak until the end.

It is rare that there is love without tears, but it does happen upon occasion.

In the end, someone dies and the other does not, unless you both die at the same time.

Because tears and heartbreak are also free. So in the end love is still free.

Love is free, but unfortunately it's not ment to last forever.

I could get all technical about human psychology and stuff, but basically, we change. We weren't ment to love forever, although many people do.

The tears and heartbreak are the pains of letting go and forgetting. It's a way of saying, "She/He is not the one and only." So the tears and heart break aren't so much a cost, but a reminder....metaphorically speaking.

I hope this helps, and i hope you feel better.

When you are hoping to be loved it will cost tears and heartbreak..

because, "Love is giving without hoping"

you are free to love someone, but u cant force someone to love you.. its too expesive..

if you understand this, there wont be a problem

Love is free ...

I've never experienced tears and heartbreak. I just simply forget about her and go on to the next one. The alternative is almost always better anyway.

Unconditionly love has never caused pain and suffering. Or tears except tears of Joy. It is the emotions, Conditional love, I'll love you only if-- -. Attachment, possiveness, jealousy, envy etc that result in pain, tears and heart break. Conditional love is not free, you pay a dear price for it.

True-true love doesn't cause tears and heartbreak because true love lasts forever and lasts through anything so you would still be in love.
