You know when you get your hair cut, it starts growing like crazy, so I was wondering if I trim my eyelashes if they would grow also. My husband has beautiful long lashes and mine are short and stubby. :(
Yes, I'm mostly kidding, unless it would actually work!

Don't do it! My mom heard that, and she did it, her eyelashes never came back in like they were before. She did it when she was in her teens, her lashes still look like little stubs when she puts mascara on them.

Of course not! That doesn't even happen with the hair on your head! That's an old wives tale.Hair is dead when it leaves your scalp, your hair follicles don't know what's going on with the ends of your hair.Trimmed hair seems to grow faster because you cut off the old ends which reduces breakage.

Well your hair grows like crazy because you cut off the split ends. I don't think eyelashes have split ends do they?

Your eyebrows do not advance like something of your hair. The length they're is the dimensions they are going to be. They attain a undeniable length then fall out & a clean one replaces them. reducing them will in basic terms cause them to shorter & make you look stupid. attempt some lengthing mascara's or fake lashes in case you prefer longer lashes

takes just about forever to grow, so if you want stubby lashes for a year or two, go for it

if they are already short you wont be happy cutting them! the reason why after cutting your hair it grows is because you are cutting off the damaged/dead ends. Eyelashes dont usually get dead ends.. so cutting them wont do any good...

Yup, my cousin's mom did that to her when she was a baby. And now she has thick, long eyelashes. I'm jealous.
