I am not sure about other states, but in Colorado it is the same for every subject area. I all depends on where you live, how much education you have and how much experience you have. I have my MA and 10 years of experience and earn about $42,000. A first year teacher in my district earns about 32,000.

Depends on where you are teaching. Bigger cities usually pay the most, then suburban areas, then small towns and rural areas.
