I am not sure about other states, but in Colorado it is the same for every subject area. I all depends on where you live, how much education you have and how much experience you have. I have my MA and 10 years of experience and earn about $42,000. A first year teacher in my district earns about 32,000.

Depends on where you are teaching. Bigger cities usually pay the most, then suburban areas, then small towns and rural areas.

What credentials do you hold? What grade are you teaching? Which school district/state/country are you in?

If you ask a teacher, they would say "not enough".
If you ask me, they can get another job in the summer to compensate.
