1. 67.5 divided by 5.4

2.(60.3 divided by 6) times 9 =

3 (3in divided by 1 inch) times .7 = scale of map

In #1, it is real simple. Divide 5.4 into 67.5 which equals 12.05. I think the nearest tenth would be 12.1 or 1 in = 12.1 mi.
#2 is more difficult because I don't think in metric. But I believe a mm is 1/1000 of a meter. So you could restate that as 6mm:9000mm or 1:1500 so multiply 60.3 x 1500 or 90450mm which would be 90.45 rounded up is 90.5m.
#3 is the easiest. If one inch on the map is equal to 0.7 miles, then 3 inches on the map would be equal to 3 x 0.7 or 2.1 miles.
