Ok so here's the problem: Girls my age (freshman) are shaving their pubic area. I never have, am I supposed to? Do guys like it?

You do what you want to do. It is your body and no body can tell you what to do with it. I know most guys prefer it to be shaved, or at least trimmed. But they shouldn't mind it at all, as long as you keep it clean :) I shave just because its my personal preference, I feel cleaner that way. But do what you want :)

This is strictly a personal preference. It can make you look better in a bikini. You Should not be concerned about what guys like. You are young and have lots of time ahead of you before you are thinking about men's preference. There is no written law that says you have to shave the pubic Area.

The most feminine girls have very little hair there.
Most American guys like their women to look as feminine as possible
Most American girls don't want to have any obviously masculine features about them
So most American girls shave their pubic area.
In most other countries women don't shave their pubic area at all

I think you should definitely trim but why get rid of the hair? I've struggled with this myself and I'm 28. I've decided that I'm a woman and a woman has hair. I've shaved and it does feel nice but it's a pain to keep up. I've tried waxing it myself and the problem is that I have to get into the most awkward position to do it! I use an electric trimmer. I think trimming is more than sufficent.

not really sure if this is a joke question, but what the hell.. in high school NO guy likes a hairy girl, period. its just how it is. however, pubic shaving isnt the most fun things for a girl. there are alot of worries regarding it, especially with cutting. so my advice to you is YES shave, its just cleaner and neater, but be extremely careful. lots of shaving cream and lotion afterwards, and not more than 4 or 5 times a week.

Some do. Some don't. If a guy watches a lot of pornography, he may expect it (as well as a lot of unreasonable things--watch out for these). Just keep this in mind--if you shave down there, you're gonna have to just about every day. Otherwise it's all prickles.

Its really up to you as you are the one who has to keep it up. Most women do it because its cleaner than having a lot of hair. You shouldn't be concerned about what guys think as a freshman

You don't have to if you don't want to. Its a personal preference thing.
(if you do decide to shave down there, go get Magic Shaving Powder, it works really well and you don't need to have a razor down there where you could accidentally cut yourself down there)

There's no law that says you have to shave there. NOT everyone shaves there.
It's your own personal decision whether to shave there or not.
As far as guys go, they don't care. I know.

Some guys like it bare some guys don't. I would at the very least keep it trimmed neatly and not looking like a jungle down there.
