Ok, my husband says it's time for me to get a job OUTSIDE of the home after being home for 6 years with our little AUTISTIC daughter. I soooooo don't want to!! Our daughter will go to 1st grade in Sept. so she'll be gone all day allowing time for me to work outside the home. Problem is, I REALLY WANT TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR HOUSEHOLD INCOME, but I want to work FROM home! Is there ANYTHING that I can do (legally) from our home to make extra money BESIDES like "Avon" or being one of those annoying "candle party" ladies? HELLLLLLLP!! Thank you ALL in advance!!! =)

THE REASON I want to work from home is because I have already been a successful professional model for 22 years and at THIS point in THAT career, I work where and when I want to. But it wont last forever... I'm 39.

I have been home for 5 years taking care of my little ones. I will soon have to go to work. I have been afraid of leaving the house on my own anymore, because the kids might need me. Mommy Radar. You have been home. My husband thinks if you are cooped up for too long in one routine you become frazzled and zapped for the drive to do anything else. It throws you for a loop and you get stuck.

Try a paper route if you live in the suburbs it's ideal. The hours are early and its good excersice. Your day starts with more enegy it's an extra income. If you drive it's the best job. And you will find you are eating better and sleeping better. I have 5 kids and when I used to deliver newspapers, my body became more fit and I had enegy to play with my children after I got used to the hours. Some newspaper distributors wake up at 4am and work till 7. you could start off with 10 stops and get more as you start getting used to it.

It's daily work and you have to make sure you have a stand in(partner) if you have too many stops on your route, so that if you do need to take time off your papers get delivered. It's great exercise and it's fun when you have someone along to help.

I hope this helps. Talk to your hubby about it. Tell him that after a few months it can make around $300 a week or more. Also find out more with your local newspaper.

you are in a bad situation. In my mind it probably will be best to make an appeal to your husband. I personally think your husband's thinking is very flawed, and yet, you are in a situation where you have to be obedient to your husband. But nobody says you have to just blindly obey without saying anything. What you can do is to try to point out the reasons why you think it is going to be best to stay home (OBVIOUS TO ME) but maybe not to him. and what situations might work out better instead. The problem is he worries about money , and it doesn't do any good to worry about money and even if you get a job outside the home he's still going to worry about money and it isn't going to solve the problem. Staying home with an autistic daughter in my mind is more important than going out and earning money. I don't think your husband is doing the right thing by his family by asking you to do this.

things you can do from home - buy and sell stuff on ebay, amazon, etc. Telecom services - Cognigen is a telecommunications network that has an opportunity that is free to start - it just takes work http://ld.net/bizop/?onthemove

www.telecommutejobs.com www.workfromhome.com have jobs where you can work from home - there's lots of these sites if you look on the internet a while.

I say to find something you can do at home first and he's not going to make you go out of the home if you have something there. But why is he asking YOU to do this anyway - why is that? Makes no sense to me. Money doesnt' matter that much - LIFE and SAFETY MATTER MORE.
Some people don't get that through their thick head. What does money matter if a person is dead? and who is going to take care of your autistic child while you are gone to work? crazy.

Once she gets in school then get a part time job to help out when she is not at home but make sure to be home when she gets home.... you can work from home if you want to... Sell pampered chef or something or you could even babysit and do daycare as well.... Or how about home Interiors? Look into your options and try things here and there.. I wish you the best.

Get a job, honey... you need to get out in the world, and see what you have been missing, and help contribute to your family income and retirement... a marriage license isn't a free lunch ticket for life. And if all there is out there are things you don't want to do, get back into school or into a training program.... again, hon, you have been cooped up toooooo long.

why must you work from home? all those home websites are is a big scam, especially those on here. if you get a job outside, you'll meet new people, and make some friends, not to mention get a breath of fresh air from being cooped up all day.

Medical transcriptionist. You do have to take some course, which you can even do online. And its LEGAL! But if you go outside of the home you'll have communication with "new" people but I can understand you not wanting to go outside of the home whatever your reasons are.

Have you considered having a daycare at home? Or you could take PATH classes and become a licensed foster care provider. If you are artistic, you could bake wedding, birthday, and anniversary cakes. They bring in good money.

Yes! How much "stuff" do you have that you want to get rid of? Start by selling it on eBay. As you are doing this, you can be looking for all kinds of other opportunities to earn income with your computer. There are dozens of bad ways and dozens of good ways. eBay is a great place to start.
