i want to become a actress but dont know how. any suggestions?

Yes, find the local community theater and sign up for audition notices, then go to auditions. Also, take acting classes in your local community college, they usually do a production as well. Go to performances and volunteer for anything they may need, concessions, box office, whatever to get your foot in. Put the energy out there and it wil come back to you. Acting is incredible, amazing, it will change your life in wonderful ways, and it is so worth it. Go for it!!!

Start where you are. Most schools, colleges, churches and communities have opportunities for chances in plays and musicals. Even some of the commerical stages sometime offers try outs for plays at various times of the year, usually Christmas plays. Keep trying out. Join a ballet company and learn dance. They offer opportunities for dance performances and getting to used to the stage. Take drama classes. Join a drama club. If you don't get a part in the beginning try working on the stage crew or with costuming or any job that is available. Try out for the Follies shows that Hospitals put on every year. Keep your eyes open for every opportunity you get to be able to get into the theater.
