There is a Federal Ban on the Use of All Types of marijuana, including the Medical Type. The States can make their own laws about this, but in the end, the Feds can step in, and throw Your A_s in Jail for Using or Distributing it.
Bottom Line: It Needs to be Decriminalized.

No drug is legal in this country or any other country, even your pain medication have to prescribed by a doctor. Marijuana was used at beginning for medical treatment like glacoma but people who prescribes it get abused by drug users and its not even legal
in the state of CA or any other states and that just not a laws its a constitution.

YES, it is legal for people with cancer or certain ailments.
(A) To ensure that seriously ill Californians have the right to obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes where that medical use is deemed appropriate and has been recommended by a physician who has determined that the person's health would benefit from the use of marijuana in the treatment of cancer, anorexia, AIDS, chronic pain, spasticity, glaucoma, arthritis, migraine, or any other illness for which marijuana provides relief.

are you joking? It is not legal. Its probably not as bad for you as drinking too much, but there is a fear and ignorance in our society about certain drugs and this one has been criminalized by our government while it is legal in some countries- Amsterdam, etc. I dont smoke it anymore, but i feel in small doses its harmless as long as you dont try to drive or in any other way put others in danger. Im not advocating it, just my opinion.

No, it is not. However, depending on where you live, the law enforcement may not concentrate very heavily on catching marijuana smokers. Also, keep in mind the police can't enter your home without probable cause, so keep all evidence away from prying eyes, and you won't have a problem.

It was in Alaska until last year (less then 4 ounces in ones home). The anti-drug people were fighting the validity of the 1975 law making it legal, so they stuck it in some anti meth bill to get it deemed illegal.

No. What more info do you need than that. No it is not and no it will not be made legal. Why would they make it legal when they are passing more and more laws restricting smoking of tobacco?

No it is not legal. some states have legalized medicinal use, but the feds will still bust anyone supplying or prescribing it for that purpose.
even read stories about them impersonating doctors, just to bust medicinal users.
