I just got an ipod nano and i'm using limewire for the first time. I just downloaded a song, but how do I get it to my ipod now? It shows up in itunes under "limewire tunes" but i can not move it to my ipod. any serious help is appreciated

What I would do is ignore "Limewire Tunes" or click it and hit delete. Then you can open up Limewire and make sure that you can see both iTunes and Limewire windows (both can't be maximized at the same time) and drag the songs from limewire to iTunes Library, then they should be added. Connect your nano and songs are transferred automatically.

I don't recommend using LimeWire for your music, it causes many problems for the ipods. Songs sometimes only play part of the whole song or none of it at all. Also, sometimes the ipod will stop working suddenly or will play a song other than the one you selected. But if you must use LimeWire, select the music you want in the library, right click, click on enrique, then go to the place at the bottom where it placed the music and save it as something under the folder "MyMusic". open itunes and import that saved file to your library, and that's it. i suggest after doing that for a while to back up your music files to CD, just in case your computer crashes (like mine did).

Right Dallas I got one for my girlfriend at Xmas and I know where youre coming from - its not exactly made clear to you is it?Anyway basically the licences for the i pod music are only on i tunes so when you try and move them from limewire to your nano it wont let you do it! Tw.....ts i know but all is not lost! I tell you what ill have a look now for a way round it for ya because if it cant be done legally i may have to look into the other options for ya and ill get a warning from the Yahoo answers team. im incredibly specific ipod and itunes are jointly..as they are asserting. limewire songs can bypass on your ipod, doesnt rely what era, i do mine by way of uploading limewire songs onto itunes

first connect your ipod to your computer.then go to the library tab and on the bottom left corner it will say eplore click it.then anything you have downloaded will appear on your screen.do a right click on anything you want transfered and click on add to sync list.then windows media player will open now click on start sync and the things you wanted transfered will now be on your ipod.this other guys are joking and are not trying to help you with your problem.do what i tell you and you will thank me for telling you this.good luck!!!!

the lime wire stuphed up my ipod nano when i was putting songs on there from lime wire so dont do it,
