have you heard about the asteroid that will hit earth in 2036? well i have and we all may be gone if we dont do anything about it. theres five different ways to not make it hit earth but they all take a while. i know your thinking just blow it up but that could destroy the world in more places so we cant. its not suppose to hit america but places over by asia africa the ocean and stuff. the way the wanna stop it will cost 250 million bucks .do you think they should do it or just hope it doesnt hit earth? wouldnt you rather be safe than sorry cause i would? if they spend that on movies congress should spend that on keeping humans arounds. shouldnt they? well they should really. so what do you think state your opinion. by the way its not that likely but like i said before rather be safe than sorry. oh and im not making this up my science teacher was telling us about it today. so its true. we saw it in science magazines or some science book that most people dont read but we have to.

I agree with you. Better to be safe than sorry. This isn't just for the future generations, it's for us too! Plus 250 millon dollars is not much money when you consider how much America spends on war, education, health, etc. I think it'd be a smart thing to make sure it stays away from us.

Oh well, if it happens, then it happens, the Earth will end sooner or later anyway, whether it be sucked into the sun, or hit by another planet, or hit by a giant asteroid, the universe has it's plans for everything, and this world can't get any more screwed up with the people that have ruined it as it is, it might just be better off that way.

It's a 1 in 15000 chance, and we have time to study it a little more. But you're right, that's not very much money. Don't worry, they will make the right decision.
Edit--Ok I just read about it a little more. The 250 mil is just to put a robot on the asteroid with a transmitter to track the thing better not to stop it. Stopping it would cost significantly more than that, but whatever the cost, it will be done. So don't worry.

ok. Whatever happens, happens and If it was to happen there will be nothing we can do about it, so instead of wasting my time on earth by freaking out over something that we can not fixed, I am going to have fun and enjoy life. maybe you should do the same.

You know what ever is going to happen is going to happen. I can't sit around the rest of my life worrying about what if it's going to happen. I'd rather just live everyday to it's fullest. I'll drink to making Each Day Count.
