Do you have a candidate for "most unfairly neglected album?" (Yes, I still call them albums.) Something good that's worth searching out? Could be old, new, rock, jazz, rap, folk, anything!

What didn't get enough exposure and/or didn't sell, but is better than a lot of the "commercial" stuff we had rammed down our throats? What out-of-print disc should we run to Ebay to try to find?

Here's your chance to let us know!

I'll try to think of some too.

Thanks! :)

One of the best CDs I found was "The Return Of The Hellecasters". John Jorgensen, Will Ray, and Jerry Donahue are the guitar trio on this instrumental CD.
Hit Ebay for this not Amazon.

Excellent question! My personal favorites are Cabin Fever by Rasputina, Feast of Wire by Calexico, and (this might be fairly well known, but I still don't think enough) Agaetis Byrjun by Sigur Ros.

Just based onthe fact that you have/like Sigur Ros, I would check out anything by Bark Psychosis, the Clientele, Her Space Holiday, that sort of thing.
Personally, I think that the Arrogant Sons of Bitches and Bomb the Music Industry! are criminally underrated.

Lightning Bolt - "Hypermagic Mountain" is a wonderful noise rock album.

Sigur Ros - "Agaetis byrjun" is a great post-rock.

We found two guys on Jacks Big Music Show - a kids show - called Nothin But Strings, that we got the CD for the kids, but end up playing it more for ourselves.

Edie Brickell's version of Bob Dylan's Hard Rain is one of my all time favourites. Can't understand why it wasn't an international hit!
