I have at least twice and would again. I hate to see anyone that is
handicapped harassed in anyway by anyone. I had to chase away
a few wiseguys that was teasing , harassing and following a
mentally challenged man one time. When I worked at another
high profile place, I pulled in a handicapped person and got them
a ride with a safe person to their home.
I can't stand bullies of anykind, I just won't tolerate nastiness in
any form .

Anybody that makes fun of a person that is handicapped is a miserable excuse for a human being. You better believe I would stand up to somebody doing that, what I would say to them will not be pretty. The people that makes fun of your sister are not decent people. I want you to remember something, "what goes around comes around." It took me most of my life to fully realize it, but that statement has as much if not more truth in it than anything that has ever been said. If we mistreat people that have problems, if we try to run over others, somewhere down the line we will get a dose of our own medicine. That never fails to happen. God does not allow us to hurt people and get away with it. The ones that have mistreated your sister, if they don't change their ways, sometime in the future they will lose something very dear to them or experience pain and suffering. There is a very good chance they will think about the ones they have mistreated. Try to encourage your sister to ignore the jerks that make fun of her, tell her that people like that are not the ones she wants for friends. There are a lot of decent people that would be happy to be friends with your sister. Your sister already has the best friend a person can have, God is her friend. Good luck to her.

If there is any physical danger to myself, then no I won't. I'm not King Kong and sorry my safety is paramount. But if the harasser is weaker than me then yes I would step in.

yes i would. i would probably make it worse with my big mouth, but i would still stick up for them. i think that is horrible and no one should be treated that way
