I like dragons, especially Smaug.
I like them because I love medieval history, and dragons are very important in terms of medieval symbolism, folklore, etc.
I like their scales. And I really enjoy snorting smoke and breathing fire. I wish I could do that!

I've loved dragons ever since I was a little girl and there was a cartoon on Sunday mornings that had a dragon in it. But then, I liked anything big and scaly, including dinosaurs, crocodiles, and lizards! Several years ago, I found out that my birth year--1964--was the Chinese Year of the Dragon, which is kind of cool.

The wide variety. Chinese scholar dragons to Western wyrms. They're old, potent symbols in many cultures. Beowulf overcame Grendl, but he met his end when he fought the dragon. St. George. The Dragon Throne.

Its all about the fact that it may be a flying dinosaur, I mean yeah, dinosaurs are real, but could one fly, etc. It's interesting to see what creatures came before us, not only mythological ones, but certain creatures, such as dragons, etc. make it more interesting

They are very wise... plus, they have many treasures!! And having a dragon friend, I would never be late to class because of traffic hehehe
