I'm writing a book, and, just to make things easier, the book is fantasy. I'm almost done and I really need a publisher!! Any suggestions?

The first thing you need to do is finish the book. That is without a doubt what you need to do first. Secondly, you need to find an agent. It's their job to find a publisher for you. The chances of you getting published without an agent are very low. But don't worry, the agent doesn't get paid until you do. The average agent takes between 10 and 15 percent. Sure it may sound like a lot, but that's the going rate. Chances are without an agent you get zero and 15 percent of zero is zero. There are many good books out there that will give you a listing of agents. Just remember you should never pay up front for them to represent you.

But, to get an agent you need to put together a query letter and then a proposal for the agent. A great book to get is "A Novel Proposal" It's a life saver.
