the most unexpected thing I've learned thus far in life is just because you get older doesn't necessarily mean you "grow up"
this isn't always a bad thing but in some circumstances it's important to act more mature than I really am/feel. simple fact is I will never completely grow up, having too much fun being a kid at heart

That there is no such thing as perfect.
Each situation you find yourself in you find that there's always something that is missing or could have been done better.
I moved to a new country thinking that it could fit me like a glove. In all reality, as I felt with the country I left behind, there are many things I love and take for granted, but just as many I hate.
I guess one way of looking at it is I've come to appreciate my own country in ways I've never expected.

Is there a meaning to life? I guess I just wanted to feel the need to be important to something that will waste away because I'll eventually die and rot away six feet under.
There are many things people think they can answer because of this or that spanning from religion to realism. But if you really got very VERY deep, it really just leads to how you deal with life and what you THINK.

I always thougt that there would be a limit to how much we can give to somebody else .... there is no limit.
I always thought that love would be selfless .... its the most selfish thing ever(now all i can think about is how to keep her happy so that i can be happy).
I always thought that i have already acted as stupid as i can be ... there is no end to my stupidity.
I always thought that after this i would be happy .... i find something else to worry about after that.
I always thought that i have learnt a lot ... i can still find things i dont know.
I always thought i would stay in touch with this person ... i dont even remember his/her name now.
I always thought i would do something that i would be remembered for ... i m still thinking ....

He was in Iraq, wanted to tell me he always loved me.
he will be home in 2 days thank god.

That life was more enjoyable as a kid, because you did stuff without worrying about consequences or responsibilites--you didn't know better.
