I'm in my 40s, and listen to too much old stuff. U2, R.E.M., not to mention older groups.

I liked some Stone Temple Pilots and Spin Doctors music, but that's ten years old. Limp Lizkit (sp?) and Rage Against the Machine were also interesting.

I am woefully out of touch.

So what good rock music have I missed out on?

Thanks for answers! Also, is there a good "compliation" of good recent songs? Some that I should download right away?

Flyleaf is pretty cool if you're looking for rock.
Check out Radiohead too, they're great.
