I am doing a research presentation about different marriages and we choose to do inbred marriages. Would anyone know of a site that i can look at and will give me as much information on it?

Though I don't know the exact site, I recommend you Google about the Hawaiian royal culture which was an inbred system until Christianity was brought to the islands. Also there are currently some American Indian tribes in the northern regions of Nevada who follow a similar practice.

Wow! Good question. This is something you have to tease information out of. Here in Lancaster Co. PA there's a clinic that deals with congenital health problems among the plain Dutch (German Anabaptist immigrants). Sorry, I have no further info. You can tell the Mennonite from the Amish from the tops on their buggies, the Mennonites have black tops and the Amish have gray. Out in western PA there's a very reclusive Amish sect that has white tops on their buggies. I read an article about a doctor researching a rare liver disorder among them, so rare that he wouldn't name it in order to protect their privacy. But I think they're called the Schwartzentruber. That's about all I know. Sorry, no websites from me. I'm not plain, I just don't know any.

I don't know a specific website either but look into Fundamentalist Mormon polygamy. Many times they marry their cousins or half-siblings, etc. There's also a lot of rape and harassment. A great book is "Under the Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakaeur.
