I get migraines constantly and I take Imitrex. The bad thing about that is that I slept the whole day after taking those. What ever you do don't take aspirin, this will cause reocurring migraines and if you take another aspirin it will only relieve the pain for a short time.

I would get looked at just to be on the safe side, otherwise try drinking more water, but dont' over do it. Get the sleep you need but not too much because this could create problems. Like I said though if they persist I would get checked out by your physician.

Good Luck I know migraines are awful and I feel for you.

OMG! i have migraines all the time. They suck but to get rid of them i take Imitrex (a pill) with water only, take a hot shower, go into a dark room, prop my feet up, and take a nap. If you can not get Imitrex try excederin migraine. The hot shower and propping your feet up are suppost to help the blood in your body flow. The cause of migraines is said to be the lack of blood flow in the body. Hope you feel better!

I've been getting migraines since 2nd grade (I'm not in 10th) and just recently got Imitrex. If you can't get that, definitely take excedrin migraine. Lay down in a dark place that is pretty quite and rest there. My doctor advised me to have caffeine when i get migraines, so that might work for you

Ibuprofen is a pain relief agent but it does nothing for any other part of a migraine.

If you go to an ER, you can get assistance immediately. But you also need to see a neurologist to make certain that these are migraines and to be prescribed appropriate meds.

Have you tried Excedrin ? I get them and sometimes that works. I also lay down close my eyes and take a deep breath through my nose and hold it and breath out my mouth. If it keeps up go to doctor. I take imitrex when mine are bad.

My doc told me to take Migraleif (not sure of the spelling). It is a mixture of herbs. You can get it at Akins. In Oklahoma it is about $1 per pill but you only have to take one a day every day.

well a home remedy would be to make a cinnamon paste, just take some cinnamon and add some water to make it like a lotiony paste, not too liquidy not too molasses like and rub it onto your forehead. the aroma and the minerals are supposed to help
