It is legal to use the "n' word. If it wasn't most blacks would be in jail for using it.

Yeah i know what ya talking about. Me and my husband just watched the news about it. Even though its a bad word, we think its wrong for them to do this. What is next? Our freedom is floating away. Eventually we are not going to be able to express our feelings or thoughts. LOL! i think its crazy. Plus people should be smart about this. Look it up in the Dic. it says the "N" word means Ignorant, so basically anybody can be called that, its not about the color. Plus if they are deciding to do this are they going to make all the other bad words illegal. right now i can see alot of people gettin charged or be put to jail because of this nonsense. Think about it......

While many would like the "N" word to be illegal it is an unrealistic proposal. If by any chance the legislation passed at a local or state level - it would be taken to the Supreme Court as unconstitutional.

If you want a word to die out - stop using it.

What word is that? Nagan?
Oh wait, that other N word. Dont worry, words cant be banned. It will never happen. Just a few nitwits who are going that route. Most of them are white people suprisingly. All the black people ive seen on TV talking about this seem to think its insane to try to ban it themselves.

The above has the best point: one cannot make an act criminal for a segment of the population. If they can, I can. Then I must consider whether I want to.

If that is the case, then I want no other race calling me a white boy, or a cracker, or the man, or white.....those words should be illegal too huh...come on...lets be fair here.

It is not illegal. Cultured people don't use it.

But it is another example of the PC double standard; black comedians can use it! Why?
Blacks use it to refer to each other. Why?

It supposedly reduces the word's power when blacks use it amongst themselves. I don't buy that crap!

Then, when a politician uses the word ********* [look it up] he gets all kinds of negative stuff thrown at him.

I lived in a Jewish neighborhood in NY. It was not illegal to yell Hitler, but it was not nice, polite or humane to do it either. I warned my children not to do it.

BTW, most blacks do not use the n word - only most on TV or rappers do.
