Why should schools not require us to have our hair at only four inches?
one reaon is it is not their right, it is ours
another is it will take away diversity
any mor suggestions?

Your school board makes rules so each person in the class is treated the same..and they work and study in the same atmosphere and are not detracted by others who want to dress, talk, do things, that are not acceptable by the whole class and teachers.
Everyone is there to learn and not be subjected to others who want to dress or wear their hair as if they are bullies or some kind of alien.Or part of a group who want to take over and frighten others in school. Just like a group who might have too many tattoos, piercings and walk around talking and acting as if they own the place. They do not realize it's a distraction for most who are around them.
When a student leaves school for the day then their freedom begins where they can dress anyway they wish. Even when someone graduates from school and goes to college and then to their job there are rules and regulations the person has to follow in order to blend in with the whole group if not it would be a very non-productive place to learn or to work.

If you wear it in a pony tail they will never know. School are really getting on the students now and this is not good you have rights use them, educate yourself to be able to manipulate the system like everyone else does. Education is the matter at hand here, not your hair.

well if it goes for the guys then obviously te rule should apply girls so it's dumb and petitions would stop it if u get enough signatures
