okay am plannin on givin my account number to some1 i can't stand (an X) because they owe me money and i want them to put it staight into my account so that i don't have 2 c them..is this safe??

No.. with that information they could take more money from you. Have them pay you directly, and YOU put the money in your account.

"Can't stand them" says it all, doesn't it. Go with your instinct and have the "X" send you a check in the mail. Don't give out your bank account number or anything else personal. By the way, do you need to have your door lock changed? Just a thought.

Don't do it! Have your X write you a check or pay you in cash and make sure you give your X a receipt when you receive it. You can always ask for the payment to be mailed to you via certified mail so you don't have to meet in person.

just have them take it to the bank and have them put it in the night depository with your name on it. It will be the same as if you dropped the check/cash in the night depository. You don't have to see them or even see mail from them.
