Yes, most states allow for the burial of deceased spouses, whether it be the body or cremated remains, and whoever said you can't be buried of you are cremated is incorrect, I "bury" cremated people every single day. The remains are placed into an urn or urn vault and then buried. Contact you local VA office to be sure, or call the actual cemetery, they will be able to answer your question, but most likely it is yes. Take care!

I'm amazed...nobody has gotten this right. You cannot be cremated and buried....unless you are put into a little container thingie and then buried. But she's burned into ashes. She's not going to be buried.

Are you talking about national cemeterys? I would check with the veteran's administration.

I believe so yes but make sure to talk with the military to see if this is acceptable and can happen.... I sure hope it can as he was your husband til death.. I wish you the best in this!
