Yes and no. The show ended because it was no longer the '70s. The final episode was New Year's Eve, December 31, 1979. If the show had continued, it would no longer be "That '70s Show," so that's pretty much why the show ended.

However, anyone who's a true fan of That '70s Show or who's seen the E! True Hollywood Story knows that Topher Grace was the outcast of the cast, despite the fact that he was the main character of the show. Their was a lot of tension between cast members because of Topher. Ashton, Wilmer, and Danny were all great friends and tried to get Topher to be a part of that. The guys went out every night and hung out during free time. They even bought a restaurant together. Topher didn't seem to want to have any relationships with the cast members outside of the production of the show. He'd go home every night and avoid chances to go out and spend time with the other cast members. Supposedly, and understandably, Topher was very jealous over Ashton's skyrocketing career, and that just made things worse.

I love That '70s Show! I'm still very sad it ended.

Yes. The show went on too long for one the main characters to up and leave and still make the show good. Besides, his replacement was pathetic.

Too bad too... Mila Kunis was sooooooooo hot.....

Not at all. Why not say it's Ashtons fault? The show had ran it's course. That's how it goes. I loved that show.

No, the characters just got too old for the premise of the show, in my opinion. But it was great while it lasted!
