ok that sums it up

ok so there is the idea that prisons use it to avoid dropping it, but I thought they avoided things that could be used to kill yourself or others. yes there IS spoap on a rope and if you drop the soap the best idea rather than scramble to and fro trying to wrangle it you should trap it by the drain and then bend *at the knees* and pick it up. So anyway the novelty idea is by and large the best answer, but WHY? novelty is one thing, but is there ryme or reason? did someone a making homemade soap drop a shoelace into his latest batch and say "ehh screw it, Ill leave it"

Soap is slippery, have you ever chased a bar of soap around the shower for five minutes and once you've finally caught it you're panting, exhausted, clutching it tightly and thrust it victoriously into the air with a shout of "Ha HA!" just to have it pop out of your slippery little fingers and start the vicious cycle all over again? Yeah, that's why I stick to body wash.
