When you butt the baseboard and wainsot trim into the door frame just cut the end at soft angle or miter cut. Paint or stain the end to match the wainscot.

Actually, you put less than 45 degrees. It's been a while since I worked on residential, but I think we used to put a 22 1/2 degree cut. 45 is too steep.
Another option is to make an outside corner, with a little tiny sliver of a piece going back to the wall. You just glue it on. That's how you kill crown molding when it just ends, rather than meeting another piece.

My dad just installed wainscoting in my breakfast nook. I did not want the Crown Mouldings and Door trim tore away. Most likely they would have cracked and had to be rebought, and they are expensive, so I had my Dad install it flush against the Mouldings, and then caulked with a Latex Caulking, that will expand with cold and heat, so as to not crack later on and it looks great..

If money is not an object,I would replace the trim so everything matches and is the same color, but I have a touch of OCD,it drives me nuts when things aren't matched.

you may stick to a glaze over the golf green to tone it down or sponge paint a beige semi-gloss over it to end the comparable. bypass away some green exhibiting. possibly placed a border on the right of the room for interest. this might make an incredible progression for little or no money.

you can 45 the end of the wainscoat and die it into the wall just before the door.
