I would like to relocate to Kansas, but I can't afford to move without having a job to go to.. I enjoy working out doors, and have worked in a plant nursery for 6 years, and am now working for the Ag. Dept. I have put my apps. on line, but no responses yet. It's like a catch-22.. If you don't live there, it's harder to get a job, and vise-versa.. I'm told there are ethanol plants going in, but I can't find the location's on a web site for Kansas. I am open for other job suggestions if anyone knows anyone who has a business in that part of Kansas.

Try waiting tables while you look for a different job. Although it's considered menial labor, being a server is actually one of the highest-paying jobs you can get if you average tips into your hourly wage. Also, getting to know the locals is a good way to network and perhaps get your foot in the door and be able to find another job.
