My biggest suggestion to you is to go into a Motherhood Maternity (or similar maternity clothing store, but MM has a great plus sized section if you're going to need it).

Take some time and try on several pairs of maternity jeans in different sizes. Ask the sales lady to give you some advice (I've found the sales ladies in MM to be especially helpful). Once you find what sizes fit you well, you can take that knowledge back to eBay to do your shopping.

Good luck!

I'm a regular size 9 and with some maternity jeans i've gone with medium and others small. It depends on what kind of jean it is. I think the best thing is to go to a maternity clothing store and try some on! At Motherhood Maternity they have these little bellies you can strap on you so you can see how the clothes will fit you when you pop out. And I started wearing maternity clothing real early, before I actually popped out because I got uncomfortable in regular jeans quick.

Unless, you have gained an excessive amount of weight in you hips, you should wear the same size in maternity clothes as you did regular cloths before. However, if I were you I would go online to a site like Mimi Maternity. They have a sizing chart on there. You know if your hips are this many inches around, you need this size pants. That cuts out the guess work. Good luck.

For maternity clothing you are to buy your pre-pregnancy size. They are made to fit around your new curve. At about 8 months I realized sweatpants were my only option, because I had gained 45 pounds and the maternity clothes werent working out so well. The cute stuff only lasts so long.
Good luck

Well most maternity jeans you just buy your normal size in. So if your a size 9 in normal jeans you would buy a size 9 in maternity jeans or a Large.

maternity clothes are the same size as normal clothing. If you wore a size 9 before pregnancy you will still wear a size nine in maternity clothing

You know what a size 9 is, right? How does the concept of a size 12 or a size 16 elude you?

Get 11/12 tall if you can find them. Or 13/14 tall.

You can also try second hand stores or consignment stores to save money and this way you can try them on.
