i think that the term accident means that no intentional harm was done. If it was an accident and no negligence was involved, then no, no jail time should be required. It would really do no good for anyone, and make matters worse.

Just because it was an accident doesn't mean that Brandy can't be prosecuted - it would be INVOLUNTARY vehicular manslaughter. Should she be found guilty? I say YES. But, I have a hard time agreeing to her going to jail. IF she has no prior arrests, I say probation, community service and a hefty fine. BUT, the judge and the family may think differently. A life was lost because of Brandy, even if she didn't mean it, her actions (not paying attention) caused someone else's death. We'll have to see what happens.

Yes Brandy should face jail time if she took the life of another person. To many people with money are getting away with murder these days. If you are going to keep yourself in the public eye you should set an example for others because you never know who is watching you. Alot of kids look up to Brandy and if she walks away with no repercussion kids will think they can too.

Would anyone else in an ACCIDENT? An accident is just that,I dont know the exact details other than it was an accident.and as long as there was no drinking drugs, hit and run,or overly negligant behavior, then no.I think having to live with that fact would be enough punishment for any decent human being to have to go through.

No - it was an ACCIDENT and she wasn't drunk or high at the time. Brandy should pay a fine, her insurance company should give a nice payout to the husband and children of the woman who died and Brandy's insurance premium should go up. AND THAT'S ALL!

Sometimes a traffic crash is just an accident. I thnk it totally depends on what she was doing and what the other car was doing when the crash occurred. If she was driving too fast for road conditions or was cutting in and out of traffic and driving recklessly, then she is responsible for the crash. I don't know too many details of the crash, but it is truly tragic, as any crash is that takes human lives.

She should face the same charges that you or I would face if we were in her situation. Just because she's a celebrity (if you could even call her that anymore), doesn't mean that she's any better than the rest of us. She caused an accident that took a life, that's the bottom line.
