Globalization is the idea of eliminating sovereign nations and having a one-world government. If this sounds good to you, consider this: What if everyone on your street got together and voted what everyone would have for dinner. Tonight, the vote is for chicken. Tomorrow, it's meatloaf. Then next day, it's tuna fish sandwiches. But you say, why can't we all decide for ourselves what we will have for dinner?

And that's why we have sovereign countries. We don't all have the same cultural values. Even within a country, people are different, but a sovereign country has a common culture that serves the people who choose to live there.

The reason that some politicians are pushing globalization is because the want to rule this world government. This is what Bush, Sr. was referring to when he spoke of the New World Order.

Personally, I am not ready to give up my rights as an American citizen to a one-world government run by megalomaniacs.

Its about gaining a business advantage by taking advantage of cheaper services and supply chain networks in other countries.

In practice its meant places like India with a large pool of highly qualified people can corner the market in things like software development.

its good news for the company but bad news if you happen to lose your job becasue your employer has decided he can get the service you provide at a fraction of the cost....and it it a fraction.
