In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas on pc...?

Does the police maverick have a chaingun? Every time I get a high wanted level, they always fire at me with a chaingun. When i get into the Maverick, it has no chaingun, or I can't find it. Please help.

no that happens in all the GTA games... they have the gun but it disappears when you get in it.
