How many nights did I dream about you?
And how many wishes before I found you?
Seven years old and such innocence
I never realized how much time could do
How many days have passed without you?
Memories of playgrounds and your eyes so blue
Mango ice creams and playing on swings
Never did I imagine we’d say adieu.

How many letters did you send my way?
How many sweet words did you softly say?
Fourteen years old and my first love
Making me smile more each passing day
How many times did you sit and comfort me?
While my tears flowed, you hugged me gently
You were my hope, you were everything
Never did I think you would leave me.

How many teardrops have you made fall?
Even though I know that it’s not your fault
Did you believe me when I said, “ I hate you”?
I had never meant that at all.
How many regrets have I had since you’ve gone?
And have you forgiven me from heaven?
After all we’ve been through I still love you.
Never could I forget what’s been said and done.

This song is in AAA format. It remembers a dear friend/lover who has passed away in a car crash. Songwriters, poets, creative people, help me with a title please :]

The title should sort of be the hook of the song.

Okay... I'd like the title to be related to the overall hook of the song. soccer lover has the right idea, but I'd like something that would make the song recognizeable. If someone said the title, another person would right away know which song it was.

Seems like some of you haven't even read the lyrics -____-

"How Many" would probably be an appropriate title, although it is repeated througout the song so it may seem a bit repetitive. Another one I like that you could take from your lyrics is "I Still Love You"
Best of luck finding a title!

Heh, you know what always annoyed me? When you have the title of the song, and the first thing the singer says is the title of the song..so I guess if you want it to be rememberable, it should be like unique. I like "Said and Done", but it's my opinion anyways =)

nice song by the way, it'd be pretty sweet if i ever get the chance to hear this on the radio
