The cord is plugged in, it is not damaged and it doesnt work in any outlet. I plugged it in the right way, and i'm sure of it. The laptop is new, i bought it brand new about 10 months ago. The battery is not used when i plug the laptop in but it doesnt charge. What should i do?
P.S. It was charging less than half an hour ago before i took my laptop off!

The battery may be faulty, defective or damaged, in which case, you would need to contact the manufacturer for possible replacement, the computer/laptop should still be under warranty.

Two things you can try, physically remove the battery and see if the charger will power the laptop (there are only a few brands that still work that way) Then replace the battery, it is possible it was not properly seated.

Purchase a new battery or take it back to where you bought it and explain whats going on. Depending on where you got it, they will look at it and possibly replace it at no charge. Don't forget to take the sales receipt.

Get a new battery. It's that simple. I tried. It worked.
