Ok here is the story. I am a great basketball player currently in grade 10. Coaches see me and know that I can be the best player on that court. I can do anything I want to and whenever I want to do it. I'm now 6 foot 2 and in grade 10. However even though everyone and every coach saw me as a great basketball player, the coach of the junior basketball team has screwed me for three years. He coaches the grade 8, 9 and 10's. I have got cut on every single one of those grades and he tells me that there are better players. Now the funny thing is that other coaches told me that my defence is the best skill that I have. I don't know if is racism but this coach has screwed me for three freakin years. I was thinking of joining another school's basketball team and show him what I got but that won't work because you have to be in the school in order to join. I don't know what to do now because it's a very frustrating situation. Next year the coach changes and he won't coach grade 11 or 12's.

ahh, same thing happened to me in 6, 7, 8th grade. my guess is your friends on the bball team must be ignoring you? well, what i did was i squatted for 5 months+ till i could dunk (im the same height as you) and met the coach for a little situation match-up with one person on team, and i dunked on him so hard i made the coach feel bad for not picking me. anyways, your best bet is to show off! use your defensive skills for the good, like stealing the ball or completely knocking people over. that's the only way to get noticed, don't be so shy.

being 6 foot 2 in 10th grade probably makes u one of the taller players on ur team. that means u might never get to play point guard, which if u want to go to the nba, is the only position u will probably be tall enough for. i no basketball is a really fun sport, but u shouldnt make being an nba player ur goal in life, pro sports is a hard field to get into. or it could be racism.

wow that sucks maybe you should confront him and tell him off, or just talk to another coach and ask him to talk to that coach
