Because in the US the left turns are naturally wide and you're not trying to avoid the curb.

The turns are wide both ways, but left turns are less obvious because, unless the truck is on a one-way street, there is plenty of room for it to turn without the danger of running over the curb. When it takes a right-hand turn, it needs to pull away from the curb in order to clear it.

Because left turns are already wide. When turning right you have to make a very sharp turn because you are hugging the curb, and semis are too big to turn tight enough. When turning left you go across the entire intersection, so a tight turn isn't necessary, thus there is no warning about how they can't make tight left turns--because there aren't any.

In addition to what everyone else has said, when making a LEFT hand turn the driver is able to look out his side window and see where the trailer is "tracking". but on a RIGHT hand turn, even with his legal mirrors, his vision is obscured by the trailer. Making a wider arc is just an added safety maneuver to avoid hitting anything.

Safety Tip: If you are driving on the RIGHT side of a semi next to the fuel tank, you are in the drivers blind spot. He cannot see your car when it's in that area. Avoid driving there if you can.

Because (in America) the curb is immediately to the right of your car, making trucks have to swing out. Turning left you have an extra lane.

when you make a left turn you are crossing the road allowing for more space for the truck to make the turn, when you turn right you are usually just intersecting directly into then next lane and are right by the curb making it more dificult and means they have to take it wider so they dont go off the road.

Because to make a right turn they are already close to the curb and have to turn out a bit to have clearance to make the turn and for a left turn they pretty much have the whole intersection to make their turn.

because wide left turns go without saying. that is, everyone makes wide left turns, whether they're a semi or not.

When they turn left they have more room to turn(cause of other lanes to cross). On right hand turns they are close to the crub and have to sway out to the left or into on coming lanes of traffic into the lane they are turning into. Hope this makes since.

because we drive on the right hand side of the road. Whenever a vehicle turns right, they are closer to the curb and must avoid hitting it by making a wider turn.

When you turn left no prob because it's across one or more lanes, giving plenty of room.
