There are many employers who try to accommodate for the disabled. Have you looked into this option?

Yeah. You should be able to contact the city of Greenville on the net. They will have a listing of the state agency in your area. There's a lot of paperwork to fill out, so plan on taking your medical bills with you that are not covered, a copy of whatever contract you have for your housing (if rented or owned), utility bills that are in your name (gas, electric, phone), your social security information, what they are covering and so on, plus your social security card. They may make their application for aid available for download on a PDF file, from the net. So, you can fill it out in advance and just pop it into an envelope, put your other papers and proof of residency in there (large manila envelope) and you should be all set.

ALSO, if you go on the web site: http://www.usa.gov/Citizen/Topics/Benefits.shtml

they'll have a pile of information you can look into for assistance. You just may be able to get a housing grant. So, hang in there and good luck. I hope this helped.

Have you used your ticket to work that the Social security office issued you.? As far as I know you can try for public aid, but depending on what you receive in social security payments you may make too much.
