I'm too old for Idol, although I look the right age. I'm older than I look. Everyone tells me I should sing, and I have performed on stage many times. Putting a band together is more than I have time or resources for, so I would rather submit singing demos or do contests or something. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes there is Nashville Star, it airs on USA on Thursday night. I also caught the end of a show Sunday on CW called Grease that had singers competeing for a record deal.

Scott Macintyre wasn't too undesirable, yet very forgettable. i genuinely wish he would not make it, there is already Michael Sarver as a spoiler. I enjoyed Kendall Beard's voice before everything. the initiating of her track grew to become into quite appropriate, and then it went all skinny and shrill, that's like she grew to become into 2 diverse human beings...too undesirable. there are millions of ways too be heard besides american idol. If you live in a small town the best way to be heard is in a bigger city such as atlanta, new york, chicago and so on. Also there are many oppertunities on the internet to be heard. umm one site you may want to try that is always lookin for talent is www.toospoiled.com they help people of all ages,shapes, sizes,and colors find careers in modeling, acting, comedy, music, dancing and so forth.
