I don't think so. I am not a model, but I have the same body type except I am 5'6". I weigh 98 pounds and am 26 years old. I eat all the time. So let me ask you this. Why do people hate all these super skinny models? What if they're body is naturally tall and thin? They don't have to have anorexia or bulemia to be tall and thin. The reason why, in my opinion, they are models is because that body type is rare. Just because they are tall and thin does not necessarily mean they have an eating disorder. Am I wrong? Prove it.
And frankly, I am tired of being judged by people who don't even know me. I've had people tell my husband it is obvious I have an eating disorder when he is with me all the time and knows I don't. People please think before you say these things. Words can hurt especially when you're making an assumption about someone you don't even know. And yes, I am venting. But I would truely like to hear your opinions on why tall, skinny models are getting so much crap these days.

128-135 lbs? hmmm says who? I passed Air Force basic training with flying colors. I am not unhealthy. Air Force says if you are female and are 5'6" you must weigh at least 5'10". So I put on that weight by drinking a bunch of weight gainers shakes so they would take me and within the first week of basic I lost it all and it's not because I wasn't eating. Trust me, they make sure you're eating there.
I am not unhealthy.

Many of them are extremely thin, but sometimes it's because they have a much smaller bone strucutre than the average women and coupled with being very tall, it can look very extreme.
However, there are some models who are too skinny, as their body fat is way too low and recently two models died from Anorexia, so it's not just an assumption, it does sometimes happen. It's certainly not jealousy, there are young girls out there who want to starve themselves thinking they will look like supermodels when they are just not built that way, these impossible standards can lead to eating disorders.
As far as you are concerned, if your doctor says you are healthy, then don't worry what anyone says.
Take care : )

You're ABSOLUTELY right. I'm sick of all these models being bashed because they have amazing bodies! I think that the tabloids are bored and want something to talk about. I think these girls have phenemonal bodies and are very lucky to be that thin. It can be natural and I get so tired of people always thinking that a very thin girl is automatically anorexic. People need to get over the fact that models are models and they need to be thin to make the clothes look great. I agree with you totally! 3 Courtney

Tall and extremely thin models are getting hassles these days because they are dying to be thin. I don't like these types of models because they show young girls that you need to be a rack of bones to be rich and famous these days, and many girls are developing eating disorders because they look up to the models. The average size woman is a size 12 in the US and women are made to feel bad because they can't squeeze into a size 1. All of it sends the wrong image to the world. I would never tell anyone that they are too thin, because it is none of my business, if someone says something to you they are just rude and insensitive and you really shouldn't be around those kinds of people.

Italian dear. I'm Italian. Brought up to think only one bowl of pasta at dinner was rare; they were feeling your head for fever! That's why I can't lose weight now! You're lovely the way you are. Eat a handful of peanuts or a double dip of chocolate chip mint ice cream or whatever you want. As long as you're healthy
that's all that matters!!

gahd r u stupid? ITS CUZ EVERYONE IS SUPER JEALOUS OF THEM!!! like i dont look like a model even though ppls tell me im skinny, im 5ft5 16yrs old and weigh 125. But i wish i could be one cuz no matter what ppls say, first impressions count. And the cold truth is that 1st impressions r mostly based on looks. I say if u look like a model, just be happy. And watch the Producers where Uma Thurmin sings "when u got it, FLAUNT IT!!!" dont let ppls give u crap about eating disorders, just smile and say "its too bad that the US is getting so fat, ppls think u have eating disorders cuz you look good." haha and i am personally jealous that u can eat all the time and weigh 98 punds. thats crazy. <3's!

WORD. corny use of dialogue yes, but a perfect time to say it haha! Hi my name is Hannah and I'm 5'10'' 129 pounds. I exercise but I eat what I want. I'm not trying to be mean to all the overweight people out there- but we're not slaving over our bodies everyday like you think!! Our body type is 1 in 1,000 and quite frankly, effortless, so if you want to get there maybe cut out all the fat in your diet and exercise everyday to get where you want to because if you're not doing that, then you're not doing everything in your power to take control of your weight.

98 lbs? Wow. Guess whose underweight. Yes, models are too thin. You're female, obviously. A 5'6 female should weigh 128-135. Hm, now what does that say about you? Hope that later, you'll remember this, and explain your motives to your failing organs, because what you are doing to your body now is in no way healthy.
