i agree with jayelle. there is a gay culture because we are a set of people with a common experience and our own signs and signals, history, traditions, etc. But a lot of what goes in here has nothing to do with culture and everything to do with dating and relationships.
what i think is odd is that LGBT is the only subheading under cultures and groups...

It's the furthest away from practically every other category. Which I think is extremely immature. "Oh let's put it way over here, that'll keep it away from us/everyone else". The fact that I had an account SHUT DOWN for insulting homophobes who were blatantly insulting the entire GLTB community, shows where the priorities for the owners of Y! Answers lies..

I think there should actually be a second category for same-sex relationships there, since so many people use this section to ask about politics, coming out, how to relate to neighbors, etc.
