my friend is mad at me cuz she heard a rumor that i think "shes jsut one of those girls", what the heck, i dont even know what that means. anyways it not true. and she wont forgive me at all even know i had no reason to ask for forgivness in the first place. she called me a b*tch. shes also mad that i hang out with the "preppy" girls now. i dont like the people she hangs out with and she doesnt like the people i hang out with, so we only hung out after school, but now shes mad at me cuz i hang out with the people i do. what the heck do i do?

If shes ur true friend she would understand. Real friends know u better to the point they know what u would say and what u wouldnt say. If shes believeing these rumors and calling u a b*tch then she doesnt know u like a true friend should. Good friends don't let others come between their friendships. Obviously she doesn't realize what shes doing. She should still b there 4 u but sooner or later she'll realize what shes done and try 2 make up 4 it. I've been through something like this before don't let that bug u.

Um...seriously this girl obviously has some issues. If she's mad at you all the time, whether about a rumor or about people you hang out with she's not a great friend. Especially if she called you a ***** with full intention. I'd stop hanging out with her, and ignore her. If it escalates talk to the school counselor, principal, or your parents. They'll either talk to her and/or her parents to straighten the situation out if it gets out of control.

That's not a friend. If you were her friend, then wouldn't she believe you over some stupid rumor? All the middle-schoolers & high-schoolers care about is gossip. I know because I'm in middle school. Just because she doesn't get along with the "preppy" girls doesn't mean you can't either. She should encourage you to make friends, too. Talk to her & tell her that you don't know why you can't be friends with them. Tell her that just because she doesn't get along with them doesn't mean you can't. Talk to her about it & see what happens. Good luck!

Maybe your friend isn't that great of a friend after all. I'd spend more time with the friends who are kind to me and that I get along with. Maybe if she sees that you are having a good time she'll start to be friends with the ones you hang out with too.
